Old man (Bay of the Dead)

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

An old man locked a couple in a café near Callaghan Square to distract a hoard of "zombies".

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

Knowing that there was a couple in the café, the man blocked the fire door with two stainless steel bins, attempting to distract the zombies away from himself. He considered his actions to be an example of the "survival of the fittest".

Upon hearing a woman approach from the back alley, the old man hid in the corner of the cafés backyard. He reached over the wall and grabbed a fistful of her hair, before her husband attacked his wrist with a golf club. The man let go and cowered in the corner of the yard, as the woman's husband - Rhys Williams - ran into the backyard followed by his wife, Gwen Cooper.

As Gwen and Rhys attempted to move the bins and free the couple trapped inside, the old man protested from his squat in the corner of the yard. They managed to shift one of the bins, but were unable to move the other before the couple inside were devoured by the undead. Overwhelmed with rage, Gwen drew her gun on the old man. Rhys managed to talk her down and they both walked away. (PROSE: Bay of the Dead)

Appearance[[edit] | [edit source]]

The old man wore a long black coat and had a long, thin white face. He had a spindly body, with bony knees, elbows and wrists. To Rhys Williams, he looked like a phantom - like Jacob Marley. He had stringy hair which flapped around his face like rat's tails. He was both deranged and cowardly. (PROSE: Bay of the Dead)
