Olga Nikitin was the daughter of Count Gregori Nikitin and sister to Alexei, born circa 1802. When she was ten, Dodo Chaplet was hired as her companion and taught her how to play the piano, with the only condition being that she not have to play "The Ballad of the Last Chance Saloon".
