Omar Hassan was married to Nadia. He was, according to the Eleventh Doctor, the best fez maker in Mutter's Spiral. The Doctor and Clara Oswald visited his shop in Baghdad in 1930 to replace one of the Doctor's old fezzes, which had been eaten by a slime-frog on the Third Moon of Puggo; Omar hoped the slime-frog had choked on it. The Doctor stayed and had dinner with him, and he went with the Doctor to help him defeat sand duplicates of Clara and Amy Johnson. He was a skilled backgammon player, beating the Doctor multiple times. (COMIC: A Wing and a Prayer)
