During the Second Omega Crisis, Omega wore a "heavy, ornate medallion". When the mentally weakened Fifth Doctor first encountered Omega in the Matrix, he found the medallion to be "strangely familiar" and "like a badge of rank". - The symbol of Omega's medallion appeared as a menu icon in Legacy [+]Loading...["Legacy (video game)"]. Other menu icons were Gallifreyan Symbols from the 21st century TV series, contextually suggesting that Omega's symbol is of the same type of Gallifreyan language as what was seen in the modern TV series.
