The P-40 Warhawk was an aircraft used by the United States in the Pacific War theatre of World War II. In December 1941, Terrence Moody took off from Clark Air Base in a P-40 Warhawk only to be shot down above Luzon Island by the Japanese in the Battle of the Philippines.
