Professor Patrick Trethui was a scientist. Sometime in the future, he discovered the remains of a Titanthrope in Devon. Using some of the viable DNA, he created a clone and called him Vilgreth. The Professor had a farm, where Vilgreth worked. When Vilgreth became violent, Trethui tried to sedate him with a tranquillising gun. This enraged Vilgreth, who killed the professor and most of the farm staff. (AUDIO: Last of the Titans)
