Paul was a human viewer of Fanwatch, a TV series dedicated to observing the behaviour of Doctor Who fans the way one might that of exotic birds.
When, in preparation for one episode, the Fanwatch crew asked their audience to submit pictures they'd snapped themselves of "the Common Cosplayer", Paul sent in a picture of a "very noble Draconian". (NOTVALID: Fanwatch)
