Pentatholene was an odourless and colourless gas. It caused a mild hypnotic state and heightened suggestibility in most sentient warm-blooded oxygen-breathing lifeforms. The Landoran Alliance used it to manipulate audiences during military speeches. (PROSE: A Device of Death)
