Peshal was the wife of Horemshep. She had a reputation for memorising every word said to her and later twisting it to her own purposes. She was involved in illegal dealings in Thebes, but nothing of her activity could be proved. Antranak had a hatred for her, and swore to reveal her true nature. (PROSE: The Coming of the Queen)
