Jamie Anderson cast Wayne Forester to voice Hob in The Quantum Possibility Engine to channel Peter Lorre's performance from the movie The Maltese Falcon. (The Big Finish Podcast, 21 October 2018.)
William Hartnell, who played the First Doctor, starred together with Lorre in the 1950 crime film Double Confession, which also starred Leslie Dwyer and Peter Butterworth.[1]
