Pimp My Ride was a television programme that involved changing old cars into something completely new.
This would have already been an antiquated reference in 2022, when Sea Devils was broadcast, showing that the Thirteenth Doctor is out of touch with 21st century popular culture, while also bringing levity as an out-of-place anachronism for that episode's 19th century setting.
