Prominence-class luxury starship
Prominence-class luxury starship was a class of luxury star-liners that was in use in the Sol System during the 26th century One such starship was the SS Surya Namaskar, which was owned and operated by the Gold Star Line. It contracted by Lady Malina Rigel-Smythe on behalf of the Helios Society to travel into Sol, the star of the Sol System, in hopes of finding what the Helios Society believed was an unexplored paradise they called "Heliotopia". The SS Surya Namaskar was originally described in the script as a Corona-class starship, in reference to the solar phenomenon of the same name. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, which coincided with the story's recording, producer David Richardson asked Robert Valentine to change this, and it was renamed to Prominence-class luxury starship. The new name retained the spirit of the original name and referenced the phenonemon of a solar prominence. (BFX: Shadow of the Sun)
