Professor Quantril was a human astronomer from the Scottish Highlands.
When Jamie McCrimmon temporarily left the Second Doctor, he made friends with Quantril.
He worked at a tracking station by 1967, and was killed by the Quarks. (COMIC: Invasion of the Quarks)
