Quantum state gold was a precious metal valued by the Incorporation. As a testament to their wealth and drive for power, they built giant pyramids out of the material as their burial grounds on Occasus.
The gold was believed to be slightly alive and was known to move as if breathing over hundreds of years, but in reality, was wired like circuitry to bring the Incorporation back to life after receiving enough artron energy.
