Rajiv was a native of an Earth-like planet. When the Muse crashlanded onto the planet, the people of Rajiv's village took her in, believing her to be a goddess and her spaceship to be a fallen star. A few days later, Ranjiv met Amy Pond, who had recently arrived with the Eleventh Doctor and was fleeing from the Shasarak. He took Amy to the Muse, who told her about herself. Following the Doctor's plan, Ranjiv and Amy took the Muse to the Shasarak ship, where she used its power source to recalibrate herself and allow her to make the Shasarak perform a musical routine. Afterwards, Rajiv asked the Muse to stay on the planet with him, to which she consented. (COMIC: Planet Bollywood)
