Randall was a night manager at a Nev-R-Close. He liked to play online games.
Randall didn't have a lot of respect for his employees, and the feeling was mutual. However, when two men tried to rob the store, the Seventh Doctor encouraged Randall to act like a leader. Randall resisted the robbers when they tried to take Lucy with them, and the other employees supported him. Afterwords, his employees started treating him with respect.
