The Ranfo were the original inhabitants of the planet Harankast. They resembled huge frogs with tails and purple dots. A group of humans arrived on their planet and began building cities. The Ranfo kept to the countryside and both species lived in harmony for a time.
However, when Manver Autos started brainwashing humans into buying cars that destroyed the countryside, tensions arose. This was only resolved once the Tenth Doctor found the source of the brainwashing and disabled it. (COMIC: Exhausting Evil)
