An incarnation of Rassilon was resurrected during a version of the Last Great Time War affected by the Time Fracture. In various iterations of the Time Fracture time looping collapse, this Rassilon had different appearances, both male and female.

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

After Zoria assembled the temporal disruptor, the Time Lords debated on using it to either fix the Time Fracture or fully resurrect Rassilon and carry out the Ultimate Sanction. Lord Romana may have been present to oppose the resurrection. This was witnessed by the Operation Time Fracture volunteers.

Rassilon themself commanded the Council to resurrect them when the debating proves fruitless. However, shortly after the resurrection occurred, Rassilon and the High Council are killed in a Dalek attack orchestrated by Davros, though the volunteers were still able to repel the Daleks from Gallifrey. These events were later undone when the Time Fracture was prevented from ever existing. (STAGE: Time Fracture [+]Loading...["Time Fracture (stage play)"])

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

Rassilon with the temporal disruptor. (Blue Peter filming of Time Fracture)
  • Being a character that only appeared at the climax of Time Fracture, Rassilon was not featured in advertising for the play. Thus, there is minimal visual material of this version of the character.
    • Rassilon played by Jenny Horsthuis can be briefly seen in the Blue Peter segment on Time Fracture, in which the host plays one of the Daleks which invades Gallifrey after Rassilon's resurrection during a performance of the play.
