The Regal Cinema was a privately run cinema located on Railway Street in Splott. The cinema was owned by the Adams family from 1897.
Circa 2009, the Regal had a private screening of zombie horror movies in an event which they called "The All-Night Zombie Horror Show". During the event, an alien pod crashed into the cinema, killing 63 people and leaving only one survivor - Oscar Phillips. (PROSE: Bay of the Dead)
