Reginald Forthman
Reginald Forthman was a professor of ontology who travelled through the universe having adventures with Sister Pik Lim. He was born in 2524 on E364449. (PROSE: All the Fun of the Fear)

By the age of 29, Forthman had begun travelling with Sister Lim in the Inquisitive. (PROSE: All the Fun of the Fear) Around this time, they solved the Case of the Fortuitous Eyebrow. In an adventure they would remember as the Case of the Missing Absence, Forthman and Lim faced off against an invisible entity (PROSE: Bibliophage) in the Eleven-Day Empire. After Forthman found his timeline being erased by the Bibliophage, he crashed the Inquisitive into the Library of Everything. He was almost entirely removed from history, but Lim tricked the Bibliophage into regurgitating Forthman's timeline and eating its own history. However, without the Inquisitive, Forthman and Lim were marooned in the Library. (PROSE: Bibliophage) Eventually, they were rescued by the Calamity Crew on the starship Equanimity.
Shortly after the rescue, Forthman received a message from his brother Rufus asking to meet up at the Gentleman's Tiffin Club in the Eleven-Day Empire. At the meeting, Rufus directed Forthman and Lim to the moon wearing a fedora which had appeared over the Empire. They were teleported onto the moon from the Billy Bragg Quarter, and Forthman fought the Schockmeister while Lim killed Mister Cheery Chuckles. After the Schockmeister descended into ontological insanity, Forthman and Lim returned to the Calamity Crew. (PROSE: All the Fun of the Fear)
