Rekkar

Rekkar was an alcoholic drink brewed on Sentarion.

Rekkar was a simple drink, similar to other basic drinks on other planets. It was tasteless, colourless and very powerful. The tradition was to serve it in small glasses, bang them on the table to make them fizz, swallow quickly and then follow up with beer in order to stop the burning sensation. Though powerful for a human, the native insect species of Sentarion were less affected by it.

Bernice Summerfield drank rekkar with Professor Lazlo Zemar when she was researching on Sentarion. When Zemar was killed by the Harrubtii, it was covered up by claiming Bernice had simply imagined it while drunk on rekkar. (PROSE: Shakedown)
