A remote-controlled car was an electronic toy car driven by a remote control.
The Second Doctor had one in the TARDIS cupboard. When Jamie McCrimmon opened the cupboard and its contents littered the corridor, he and the Doctor amused themselves with the car for a while. After the team averted the creation of an alternate timeline, Jamie was keen to have a go with the car again. (AUDIO: Daughter of the Gods)
