Reston
Tech-Ops Reston was a scientist in the Kaled Military Elite who worked with his friend Tech-Ops Davros in weapons testing. He lived on Skaro towards the end of the Thousand Year War between the Kaleds and the Thals.
When Davros accepted a role in a mission to destroy a new Thal weapon research facility, he recommended that Reston join them, partly due to his expertise and previous combat experience, but also because Davros trusted him. While returning home after the mission, Reston was badly wounded by the Kaled Dome's automatic defence system's weapons fire. Not wanting to slow down Davros or be left behind for scavengers, he asked his friend to kill him. Davros, shocked that Reston was unwilling to survive, saw him as being weak and killed his friend.
