Revolting Farmers (audio story)
Revolting Farmers was an episode of Dead Ringers released on BBC Radio 4 on 22 November 2024.
One of its sketches featured the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday; this is the only sketch from this episode which is covered on this wiki.
Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]
Ruby Sunday asks the Fifteenth Doctor where they've landed, with the Doctor informing her that they're on Earth in the year 348309, where the planet is barren, the Sun is a dying red giant, and all traces of humanity have been "swept away". Immediately after he says this, Donald Trump appears. Although Ruby believes this to contradict the Doctor's claim, Trump claims that he was correct, with Trump as the sole survivor, apparently having hated humanity, considering it "bigly overrated".
The Doctor questions why Trump is still on Earth in the "349th century", to which Trump explains that he'd been made the ruler of the cockroaches after they dug up his cryogenic capsule which he'd been placed into following the end of his seventh term as president, which ended with nuclear war. He claims that he gets along with the cockroaches, with them reminding him of "the old days", naming two of them "Vladimir" and "Elon".
Ruby asks Trump if he'll ever leave the Earth in peace, which Trump finds rude, demanding that the cockroaches seize them. The Doctor asks what Trump plans to do with them, with Trump replying that the Doctor will be fed to the "horribly misshapen mutant" Rudy Giuliani, while Ruby will be his "new fake Melania Mk. 3,000,012". Finishing, he tells the Doctor to put on a pair of sunglasses and let Rudy suck out his brain.

Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- This story makes use of the version of Donald Trump from Dead Ringers.
- The year 348309 would belong to the 3484th century, not the 349th century.
- The "fake Melania" punchline refers to a running joke through previous sketches, the latest iteration of which had Elon Musk converted into "Elonia", as another "fake Melania" has "malfunctioned" by beginning to hate him.
