The Roxbourne Peninsula was a location known for its trading during the 24th century.
In 2367, Solomon, an alien trader, boarded a Silurian Ark and, after jettisoning the Silurian crew through the airlocks, intended to pilot their ship to the Roxbourne Peninsula in order to sell the dinosaurs that were kept on board. Due to his inability to fly the Ark, its auto-pilot defaulted and returned to Earth where it was intercepted by the Eleventh Doctor. (TV: Dinosaurs on a Spaceship)
