Grant is mentioned in the same paragraph in which Dorium talks about watching Strictly Come Dancing. Although the connection isn't explicitly made in the text, this is a reference to Grant competing in the ninth series of the programme, which was in progress at the time the story was published.
One of the images accompanying the story is a photograph of a surprised Grant with a word balloon that reads "What do you mean I look like Dorium?"
