Ensign Sam Appleseed was a technicians officer aboard the space ship Black Horizon. He deciphered that the cable that marooned the ship in the Gloriana Scattering was actually organic. He helped Rory find the Eleventh Doctor and Amy. (PROSE: Web in Space!)
