Sarah Jane Smith had her life changed for the worse on 25 June 2007, when Donna Noble turned right instead of left; this small change in affairs produced a parallel world.
Sarah Jane was investigating the Royal Hope Hospital - along with her son, Luke Smith, and his friends, Maria Jackson and Clyde Langer - when it was transported to the Moon. (TV: Turn Left [+]Loading...["Turn Left (TV story)"]) There, the hospital was invaded by Judoon. (TV: Smith and Jones [+]Loading...["Smith and Jones (TV story)"]) Sarah Jane took control of the situation, reassuring the staff and patients that she could stop the MRI. She was successful, but died, along with her son and his teenage friends, when the hospital ran out of air.
The building returned to Earth with only one survivor - Oliver Morgenstern. He was interviewed by BBC News and mentioned Sarah Jane's sacrifice. (TV: Turn Left [+]Loading...["Turn Left (TV story)"])
