Sarah Mordley

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Sarah Mordley was the mother of Brittany Mordley and sister-in-law of Tom Mordley. Her husband died of an aneurysm.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

After her husband died, Tom had been the "only man who'd given a damn about [Brittany] and [Sarah]"; even though he was a grad student, Tom had worked extra shifts in order to cover the rent after her husband died. He had been the first person to get Sarah to smile after her mother's death, which Brittany later considered to be a gift by itself. Tom had been excited about Cyberon, a miracle cure, how it could've saved his brother. At the airport, Tom told her that when he would return, he'd move her and her mother somewhere better. Tom later told Sarah about Lauren over the phone. (PROSE: Silver-Tongued Liars)

After the death of Tom Mordley in 2000, (PROSE: The Last Dose, Silver-Tongued Liars) Sarah and Brittany attended his funeral in the United Kingdom. There, Lauren spoke to Sarah, and then did P.R.O.B.E., led by Patricia Haggard. At one point, Brittany suggested getting a job, but Sarah told her that her education was more important.

Eight years later, Sarah had dinner with Brittany, the night when she had to bring Tom's possessions from the storage company as they raised their rates too high for Sarah to afford. After dinner, she went to her second job. The next day, after Brittany found a vial of Cyberon in Tom's possessions and administered it at school after a bully attacked her, she felt like she didn't want to return home as she didn't want her mother to see her "like [that]".

A year later, when P.R.O.B.E. members Patricia, her partner, and Giles flew to Philadelphia to check up on Brittany, Patricia asked her how her mother was doing. Brittany nodded in affirmation. (PROSE: Silver-Tongued Liars)
