A school uniform was a type of uniform which was worn by students at school.

Coal Hill School[[edit] | [edit source]]
Coal Hill School's school uniform in the 1960s included a school tie, which was black and emerald green. (TV: "The Centre", PROSE: Untitled) Part of Susan Foreman's official uniform here was "a rather drab" grey tunic. There was a little badge embroidered on the apron, which stood out in red and gold and read "COAL HILL SCHOOL". (PROSE: Nightshade)
According to another account, Coal Hill was a secondary modern school, and therefore required no uniform. The only rule regarding clothing was that girls may not wear trousers. Headmaster Basil James Carker had turned down dozens of petitions that girls be allowed to wear trousers to school. Susan commented in her diary that "[she thought] he'd be happiest if [girls] had to wear Mohammedan veils and Idaho potato-sacks". (PROSE: Time and Relative)
By 2016, uniforms were not required for sixth formers. (TV: For Tonight We Might Die)
