Second Session (short story)
Second Session was a short story released in The Doctor: His Lives and Times. Drawing some of its dialogue from the final scene of The War Games, this story featured a transcript of a second session of the Doctor's trial in that story. Taking a page from The Trial of a Time Lord, the Doctor faces an Inquisitor.
Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]
In the second session of the Doctor's first trial, the Second Doctor is questioned one-on-one by an Inquisitor. As the Doctor summarizes everything he's done following leaving Victoria Waterfield, a pattern emerges of the Earth being a frequent site of alien invasion. From this, the Inquisitor decides that the Doctor should be exiled to Earth.
