Sellafield, renamed Windscale after some bad publicity in the 1980s, was a nuclear power plant in Cumbria, near Whitehaven, Meckerbet and the Grange estate. George Smithers was an admin clerk at the plant before he was given a job at the Grange. (PROSE: Invasion of the Cat-People)
