Septus was the bodyguard of Cicero. He asked the Fifth Doctor who he was and then stopped Nyssa from going to the Doctor. He later spotted the lights in the sky. He was taken with his master, and the Doctor and friend to Tartarus. He was a veteran soldier. He was killed by one of the robots in the world they came from.
