Shapeshifter (Bedtime Story)

A shapeshifter took the form of Evelyn Smythe and Jacob Williams. They had powers to stop the time of the members of Jacob's family to make them appear that they were dead. This happened every time a grandson was born. They came to this world in the 16th century taking human form and fell in love with one of Jacob's ancestors. The shapeshifter was spurned for telling the truth about it's heritage, and they were burnt at the stake as a witch. They vowed to take revenge and used the story of Sleeping Beauty to do it. The Sixth Doctor worked out that, in doing this, they had sentenced themselves to death. They did the same to everyone who knew the truth. (AUDIO: Bedtime Story)
