Slalvok
Slalvok was an individual from Zoknuv-10 who participated in Maker's Wish.
Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]
After losing a Zu-Zu-Poo battle, and his friend Rick getting a Champion - LEVEL 1 in a pack of cards, Slalvok went home "in a frenzy", his mind focused on how he "wanted more", at which point he was contacted by "the Maker", leading him to participate in Maker's Wish.
Slalvok took part in various competitive challenges on Maker's Wish before winning. His first death on the show occurred when he was walking to the challenge platform and tripped, cracking his skull open. His "most epic death", according to Laloth, was when he "was grated on a Earth food grater for 15 inter-universal hours while fully conscious".
In total, he took part in 3123 episodes, with his various challenges including one where they had to "bake a cake before [their] protective capsules melted away with lava", and one in which they had to try to eat their opponents before they ate them, which gave him great trauma. He won a game during a "lack of breathing challenge", as his opponent laughed and suffocated, leading him to win "every Zu-Zu-Poo card" as his prize; however, as he hadn't worded his wish clearly enough, he got every card, meaning nobody else "in existence" had any.
He was interviewed about this on one episode of Maker's Wish: After Dark. Jeff called in during the show, telling Slalvok that, as a fellow human, watching him during the games was "stressful but satisfying at the same time", before asking for any advice for someone like him wanting to get into the games. Slalvok responded that one had to be sure, as it was "intense".
Next, Loxiz called in, asking him what his favourite challenge was, which Laloth claimed was a good question. Slalvok responded that it'd probably be "the one where we had to bake a cake before our protective capsules melted away with lava". Finally, Volm called in, asking him what challenge was the most difficult. Slalvok was evidently distressed by this, and answered that they were all challenging, and suggested "maybe the one where we had to eat our opponents before they ate us?", before noting that he "obviously didn't win", and that his fingers still felt like they were being chewed.
Near the end of the show, Slalvok claimed that he hoped to get his friends back into the game, but was unsure if he'd be able to; the interviewer told him that he could always enter the games again, leading Slalvok to simply respond "No...!".
