Space station (One Enchanted Evening)
On a space station, Jack Harkness and Alonso Frame met and had a romantic dalliance. Their night was interrupted when Mother Nothing invaded the facility in an attempt to steal its diamond engine. In the ensuing conflict, it accrued enough structural damage that it ultimately broke apart.
The station was considered an extremely opulent resort. Its utility ducts were laced with gold, and it was powered by a giant diamond engine that was custom-grown and worth a planet, though not particularly impressive in terms of actual functionality. Its computer systems spoke in an unfailingly polite manner even when announcing disaster (e.g. 'I regret to announce bulkhead structural density is down to 2% course. I'm sorry for any catastrophic failure this may cause.') It contained an "escape casino," which its captain used to escape at the onset of the invasion.
