After he moved out to build the Savoy Theatre and complex the Palace became music hall and Jago is a composite of its early managers mixed with the compere of the Good Old Days .... It is established that Greel's base below the Theatre is connected to the sewer that runs along the Fleet ... Therefore it must be somewhere north of the river as the fleet runs under Fleet Street and I think up towards the real Palace Theatre which would make sense....
