He and his associate [[Lute (The End of the World)|Lute]] were obviously distraught when the [[Ninth Doctor]] made them aware of Jabe's fate. When the [[Tenth Doctor]] and [[Rose Tyler]] revisited Coffa and Lute, they informed him that survivors of Platform One had begun disappearing. While the Doctor saved their garden from [[Montodon Slemm]], Coffa and Lute disappeared as well. ([[DWBIT]]: ''[[Growing Terror]]'') They had been kidnapped by the [[Elth of Balhoon]], who believed that they hadn't tried to help the [[Moxx of Balhoon]] and had abandoned him to die.
