Four ‘teenage’ aliens are camped out in the ruins on the third moon of the planet Callicial for a dare. Their mood is one of excitement, fear and suspicion as they wait out the night in the hope of seeing (and capturing photographic evidence), of the rumoured ghosts believed to haunt the moon and the reason for it not being properly colonised. Spooked by the arrival of the TARDIS with the [[Eleventh Doctor]], [[Amy Pond]] and [[Rory Williams]], they all soon witness the floating apparition of a nightclub singer. The Doctor takes a moment to wonder why the ghost looks so human bearing in mind that humans have never been to this system before. Very soon the moon is full of dancers, footballers, singers, floating heads, and a knight in armour. But Rory is first to recognise the knight- Alex Redman who played Sir Winterhill in the TV show he used to watch as a kid ‘The Black Castle’. Amy then recognises Lady Catherine Pryde and the Doctor then realises that all the ‘ghosts’ are in fact all characters from TV. TV signals that have travelled all the way from Earth. Angled in the signals direction, something in the moons atmosphere was making the signals visible. Amongst the ruins are the Doctor finds an old transmission station and using his sonic screwdriver to generate white noise, the Doctor is able to block the ghostly signals leaving the sky filled with amazing lights. As the TARDIS crew prepare to leave the alien teenagers are left talking about setting up a new tourist attraction.
