This is another example of "definition extension" that stretches the meaning of a term until it becomes useless. There has been argument over the definition of "Companion" for decades. The meaning of "Alias" on the "The Doctor's aliases" pages and the "also known as" boxes make those a mess. Perhaps this should be discussed in one of the community sections, but this looks a good place to point it out.
