I don't recall anything of this nature being said in the episode, in fact that is why the Doctor wore one of the protective wristbands during most of it. I would straight out remove it but I am not familiar with any behind the scenes statements which may have stated this, but if they were behind the scenes shouldn't it be cited as such? And in fact based off other articles and previous skimming of the policies should be mentioned in their own section of the article and not in the article's main body. :Amy mentioned it in the episode. When she realized that the she had the Doctor's wrist-band, she said something along the lines of "He's a Time Lord. He doesn't even need one." (I don't remember the exact quote, but the meaning is the same). As for the Daleks giving the Doctor a wrist-band, I'm not sure why they did that.
