This is the place to come if you want to be kept abreast of technical issues affecting the wiki. This is the home of the archives for the original tech notes forums.   Most of the threads here are simply '''announcements''' about bugs, technical innovations and advice on how to use the MediaWiki software. The original board was by far the youngest forum on this wiki.  Messages in this archive date between [[2011]] and [[2012]].


A lot of technical changes are noted in the [[MediaWiki:Community-corner|community messages]] which get flashed to every registered user's account.  However, not every technical change is really important enough to bother people with a notification.  Thus, the ''best'' way to keep apprised of changes is to come here.  
The currently active technical announcement board is called '''[[Board:The Drax Cave|The Drax Cave]]'''.  


As of 1 May 2012, there are no plans to archive any of this material.  As these are announcements which generally continue to have applicability, the threads will simply be left intact here, until it becomes obvious that there is a demonstrated ''need'' for an archive.
