I'm a fan of Doctor Who. I think Matt Smith is the best Doctor because his performance is very eccentric, manic, and energetic, but with a coldness and darkness about him, that I believe personifies the Doctor. My favorite Dalek ever is the Dalek Supreme of the New Paradigm, a) because he looks very imperial with his white color, and b) because he's smart enough to outwit the Doctor twice! I think the David Banks Cyberleader is the best because he's formidable enough to have taken over the TARDIS twice and he and his troops were partially responsible for killing one of the Doctor's companions! My first Doctor Who stories were Tomb of the Cybermen and The Five Doctors.
About me: I prefer to remain anonymous, internet safety and all that. I will tell you that I have two arms, two eyes, the basic humanoid form, but that is it.

List of Doctors from most favorite to least:
About me as a Whovian: Now you're talking! Ok, I like Matt Smith's Doctor best for a more manic and eccentric performance. Also, my 1st and 3rd most favorite stories are some of his. I do not consider myself a fan of New Who or Classic Who, I am a fan of Doctor Who, plain and simple.

This week's episode: Nightmare in Silver was a bit of a disappointment to be honet, but not bad either. The kids did nothing, except act arrogant and high and mighty in Angie's case (Rose Tyler, anyone?). The CyberDoctor acted too emotional, but Matt Smith's performance was sinister enough to make me forgive it (Though that doesn't justify it). The story reminded me heavily of Tomb of the Cybermen, so it's not exactly original, but it's not bad either. As for the Cybermen, I think they are brilliant. Much more terrifying than the previous model with their faster speed, ability to adapt, and ability to detach parts. The Cybermites are also a frightening little idea, though this kind of renders the Cybermats useless now. The ending reminded me of Tomb of the Cybermen also. The side characters are mixed, the army platoon do very little like the aforementioned children, but the woman in charge of them is very sinister. The ringmaster was great, but I wish he was used more. Porridge was easily the best character, written and acted. So with a great but not very original plot, mixed supporting characters, Matt Smith proving why he's a great actor, and excellent new Cybemren, I'd give it a 6/10, and I'm looking forward to next week's episode, The Name of the Doctor.
