Scott was a leader of a small quad of troops designated to some caves beneath [[Earth]] after [[Geologist]] [[Kyle (Earthshock)|Kyle]] came to them and told them about the gunshots and the missing [[Geologists]] they immediatly went to the caves and set up camp outside where [[Walters (Earthshock)|Walters]] set up a life scanner and Scott, [[Kyle (Earthshock)|Professor Kyle]] and most of the troops went into the caves. Down there they rested when [[Kyle (Earthshock)|Professor Kyle]] tripped over where they heard [[Walters (Earthshock)|Walters]] talk to them through the intercom that the wounded party [[Baines]], [[Carson]] and assistance help Sergeant [[Mitchell]] have gone of the scanner dead and an alien was spotted in the lower caves and so he met [[The Doctor]] and they found a trap door and then two deadly [[Android]]s come out of knowhere kill a few soldiers and start attaking. When Scott and the troops blew up the [[Android]]s and [[The Doctor]] opened the hatch and inside was a [[Cyber-bomb]] aand the bomb was counting down so [[The Doctor]] told [[Tegan Jovanka]] to take Scott and his troops to the [[TARDIS]] to wait. When they came back after defusing the bomb Scott begged that they went with them, so they did and arrived at a massive space frieghter where [[The Doctor]] and [[Adric]] went to look around.
