After it's revealed to be the Doctor's first TARDIS, it's no longer referred to as "Chronoscope" by anyone, except maybe Sibor once or twice. After it's revealed to be the Doctor's first TARDIS, it's no longer referred to as "Chronoscope" by anyone, except maybe Sibor once or twice. So "Chronoscope" is what it was referred to because it was initially believed to be a machine for making prediction about the future, but it turns out not to be the case.
