'''Interplanetary Space Command''' was an organisation which existed in the [[29th century]]. They operated at least two [[space station]] beacons in orbit around [[Jupiter]], whose job it was to direct space traffic traveling from Earth to Pluto. Their chain of command ended with a higher authority/headquarters known as '''Earth Centre'''. ([[DW]]: [[Revenge of the Cybermen]])

 

Sometime in the 29th century, the [[Nerva Beacon]], assigned to a 30-year mission orbiting the planetoid [[Voga]], was apparently struck by a plague that wiped out nearly all of the 50-strong ISC crew. Only 3 survived (and 1 observer), and it was soon discovered that the plague was in reality an infection spread by an invading [[Cyberman]] force. ISC personnel wear brown shirts, trousers, boots, tie and a jacket. The ISC insignia is displayed on the right breast. A tab displaying the officer's rank stripes is pinned to the left breast.
