I made an assumption that the "W Coburn" listed as the current headmaster of the school is the same person as Wendy Coburn, one of Susan Foreman's classmates (Year Four) briefly mentioned in the first episode, as well as in a subsequent prose (considered canon). Obviously, there is a faint chance it could refer to a different person, but that is unlikely.{{unsigned|Accessdbpro}}

:Hi :) Thanks for your edit. However, please take care not to introduce speculation into articles.  Sometimes, coincidences are just coincidences.  There is absolutely no instance of the word "Coburn" in the script to ''An Unearthly Child''.  Nor is it an established TV fact that Susan was in Year Four. Wendy Coburn was named after the (credited) writer of the TV episode, [[Anthony Coburn]], and the bit in ''[[The Name of the Doctor (TV story)|The Name of the Doctor]]'' is like an ''oblique'' reference to Anthony rather than a specific one to this entirely ancillary character. For us to include your factoid on this wiki, we'd have to have Steven Moffat telling us he was specifically referencing the character — given her almost total obscurity. {{user:CzechOut/Sig}}{{User:CzechOut/TimeFormat}} 22:09: Sun 24 Nov 2013</span>
