'''Polystyle Publications, Ltd.''' was the publisher for virtually all the English-language comic strips of the [[1960s]] and [[1970s]]. They bought the company that had been publishing ''TV Comic'' — TV Publications, Ltd. — when the run of ''Doctor Who'' comic strips began.  While they were in business, the published all the magazines in which ''Doctor Who'' ran, including ''[[TV Comic]]'', ''[[Countdown]]'', and ''[[TV Action]]''.  In [[1979]], Polystyle lost their license with the [[BBC]] to [[Marvel UK]] (UK), who then began publishing ''[[Doctor Who Weekly]]''.
