Frank had a trophy wife called Kelly. In [[2008]], Frank acquired the [[Book of Jahi]], a powerful alien artefact capable of controlling Rift storms. Knowing that he was out of his depth, Frank tried to contact [[Torchwood Three]]. But when he couldn't, he hid the book of Jahi in the village of Cwmblaidd, a village about to be submerged beneath a new lake created as part of a hydroelectric project.
