: I suppose the main reason ''I'' think it was predestination was the mind wipe. Personally, while I personally think it always happened as it did, the "And I've seen that" could easily be interpreted to mean "I saw Gallifrey taken into the pocket universe while the Daleks blew each other up, but the time sync memories made me think I pressed the button and made it burn" AS WELL AS "I saw Gallifrey burn as I pressed the button alone in the original version of events".
